The Vuono's company was founded in 1966 thanks to Mr. Joseph Vuono. At the beginning he specialized in the field of excavation and earthmoving.
After a few years of activity, namely in 1971, started the company's expansion project with the installation of the first plant of crushing, screening and washing of the inert material. In the same year the company Vuono get the first certificate in the national builders in the following fields: construction of civil and industrial buildings, road works and construction of water supply and drainage networks.
The early seventies saw the enterprise engaged in the production of many post offices and schools throughout the province of Cosenza. A decade later, is installed the system of production of concrete and the company has been awarded contracts for the construction of various road works at the local and provincial levels.
At the end of the nineties comes the Cima Costruzioni Generali Srl founded by the children of Mr. Joseph Vuono Ivan and Marco. Between 2002 and 2003 they continue the expansion project started by his father, opening a second location in Bisignano, a few miles from the highway of the SA-RC Torano Castello, a site hosting important to plant the production of asphalt.
Today's Cima Costruzioni Generali Srl can be considered among the top ten companies in the province of Cosenza in the field of road construction, production of asphalt and cement, crushing of inert materials.
